SNAP DAY (1st April): We Started the year by taking a selfie with each student making it a memory to cherish forever. Personalized first-day-of-school colourful frame was prepared to add to the beauty of pictures.

WORLD HEALTH DAY (7th April): We at KCMOIS thoroughly support healthy eating practice in students. Healthy tiffin day was celebrated to inculcate the habit of healthy eating,

SENCE ORGAN WEEK(11th to 14th April): Sense organs play a vital role not only to make us aware about ourselves but also of our surroundings. Learning the five senses helps children better explore the world around them.

We planned a fun filled week of activities to gain a better understanding of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell

Day 1: EYE DAY (11th April, 2023): SHOW AND TELL is an interactive & fun way for kids to showcase something unique about themselves.

Day 2: EAR DAY (12th April, 2023): EARS TO HEAR: Differentiating between different types of sound is a fun way for kids to segregate pleasant & unpleasant sounds.

Day 3: NOSE DAY (13th April,2023): NOSE TO SMELL: The nose is an important body part for breathing and smelling.

Day 4: TONGUE DAY (14th April,2023): TONGUE TO TASTE: The organ for the sense of taste is the tongue. The tongue has various receptors which can detect whether the item consumed is salty, sweet, bitter or sour.

ASCENSION -EARTH WEEK (17th to 22nd April, 2023): Natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest

HEALTHY TIFFIN COMPETETION: The competition was an initiative by the school teachers to promote eating of healthy wholesome meals and saying no to junk food.

MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION (11th April,2023): God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers; ‘He created mankind but our mothers created us.

PAPER BAG DAY / BAGLESS DAY (12th July.2023):
Bagless day in school not only provides a platform to encourage students to participate in extra-curricular activities but also is an attempt to provide a different module of learning for better performance. A bagless day was organised students to retain the freshness in learning. The fun-filled and engaging activities focused on developing creative, speaking, listening and fine motor skills of the students. The activity was helpful in unleashing the inner artists in the students as they turned the ordinary papers into fine works of art.

MOCK ELECTION (17th July, 2023):
A mock election is an educational event where students practice voting for political candidates. Mock elections for representative bodies, such as presidential or congressional elections, can help students learn about democracy and develop essential voting values.

INTER CLASS CHESS COMPETETION (20thJuly, 2023):
KCMOIS hosted the Inter- Class Chess competition to provide a platform to its students to improve their logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem-solving. Young budding students from Grades 3 to 8 participated in the Inter-Class Chess Competition on 20th June 2023.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY (22nd July, 2023):
Investiture ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take the charge of the school & take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision-making skills, communication and teamwork. At this ceremony, a school prefectorial board is formed which gives them a feel of functioning of an official administrative body. The selected students are honoured with their respective badges& the student council members take an oath to faithfully work for the school.

SPELL BEE COMPETETION:
A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. To compete, contestants must memorize the spellings of words and recite them accordingly
